5kV-38kV Metal Enclosed LIS

A 5kV-38kV Metal Enclosed LIS, Load Interrupter switchgear, typical application is for primary or secondary power transformer isolation and short circuit protection. Available in single switch or bussed lineups. With bussed lineups power can be distributed to multiple loads from a single lineup with multiple feeder switches. The Quick Make/Quick Break switch mechanism allows for full current load interrupting capabilities. Include fuses for calibrated short circuit protection. Load Interrupter switchgear is generally applied to low cycle applications and where the relaying and drawout features of Metal Clad switchgear is not required.
